The decisions presented in NOOK go beyond mere binary choices or selecting items; players are often required to engage with Ergin as a complex character with his own values, persuading him toward specific actions.
This text-based game is enriched with visual and auditory elements that deepen the player's immersion in the storyline. In the event of character death, players are brought back to predetermined points to revise their decisions. However, as NOOK tracks player interactions with its characters from the outset, some choices are irreversible, adding a layer of consequence to the gameplay.
